Invercargill Water Tower

A major landmark in Invercargill, the Water Tower was built in 1889. Combining utility with adornment, it was built to support the city’s first high- pressure water supply tank. It was designed by consulting engineer William Sharp, and built by Matthew and Hugh Mair.

Burt Munro Statue

McMillan Art bronze sculptor Roddy McMillan took around two years to sculpt this bronze masterpiece. The statue is 4.5m long, about 7 per cent larger than real life. It features Munro crouching down in his 1920 Indian motorcycle.
